  3. Dear Lindsey,

It’s finally here, the day we knew would come; the day you leave to begin your next in a series of life journeys’. I post this comment as I am filled with a tinge of mixed emotions. Thrilled with the pride of an aunt who has watched you over the years as you continually, ever so gently, push the envelope, and amazingly expand your horizon. Yet, quieted as the realization sets in that you somehow may be beyond immediate reach for our frequent emails, texts, or chats.

Notwithstanding, I wish you Godspeed as you venture to Nicaragua to do good work. Endeavor to integrate, stay well, continue to blossom, and know that you are in my heart, now and always.

    Love,
    Aunt Janet
